I am an experienced AI/ML leader with over 15 years of academic and industry experience designing, deploying, and scaling machine learning systems in IoT, autonomous systems, e-commerce, SaaS, and mobile AI. I’ve held senior leadership roles managing large strategic AI/ML organizations at Amazon and leading frontier AI research and engineering at Parallel Domain, a Series B startup. Earlier in my career, I served as a tech lead and machine learning engineer at Amazon and Qualcomm, developing core ML technologies and edge AI solutions.
I hold multiple patents, have authored peer-reviewed publications in AI/ML, and actively advise stealth-stage AI startups. I write extensively on AI/ML topics and mentor engineers and technical leaders on building successful careers in AI.
Professional Journey
Startup Leadership & Strategic Advisory (Current): I currently lead the AI/ML division at Parallel Domain, a Series B startup, shaping strategy and research in frontier technologies like domain adaptation, world diffusion models and scene reconstruction. I also actively advise early-stage startups on product strategy, growth, and innovation in the AI space.
Amazon (2016-2015): I started as a software developer building core AI/ML technologies and eventually led large-scale AI/ML teams of over 60 people, driving innovations in e-commerce, SaaS, IoT, and Smart Home Systems.
Qualcomm (2013-2016): I worked on edge AI and real-time ML systems for mobile devices, pioneering technologies that impacted millions of users worldwide.

University of California, Berkeley: I earned my Master’s degree in Information and Data Science, specializing in Machine Learning, AI, and Data Science.
Clemson University: I completed a Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, focusing on Algorithm Design and Computer Vision.
National Institute of Technology Karnataka (NITK), India: I received my Bachelor’s degree in Engineering.

Throughout my career, I’ve conducted over 750 interviews for various technical and non-technical roles, hired over 100 professionals, and mentored hundreds of engineers and leaders in the AI/ML field. I’m deeply passionate about helping engineers develop fulfilling careers and supporting leaders in scaling impactful AI-driven organizations.
